Individuals requiring a certificate for continuing education credits must check in for each session or plenary attended. AIA and BPI members must write in their AIA or BPI member ID at the back of the session room. LEED professionals must now self-report their CEs earned through their online USGBC account.

Professionals eligible for continuing education credits include, but are not limited to: Professional Engineers, Certified Public Accountants, AIA members, LEED professionals, and BPI professionals. Please note that not all sessions offer AIA LUs, LEED CEs, and BPI CEUs.

1.0 PDHs are available for each keynote and plenary session, totaling 4.0 PDHs. Please note that these credits are not included as approved sessions for AIA, LEED, or BPI. You must check in at the session to receive these credits.

The 2018 State Energy Conference has been approved for the following professional continuing education contact hours:

  • NC Professional Engineers: 1.5 PDH for each complete breakout session and 1.0 PDH for each keynote or plenary.
    Maximum individual credits: 11.5 PDHS
  • AIA Member Architects: AIA has approved 1.5 LUs for many sessions. See the summary linked above for specifics about each session.
    Maximum individual credits: 7.5 AIA LUs
  • LEED Professionals: USGBC has approved 1.5 general CE hours for many sessions. See the summary linked above for specifics about each session.
    Maximum individual credits: 7.5 LEED CEs
  • BPI Professionals: BPI has approved 1.5 BPI CEUs for each Residential Homes track sessions.
    Maximum individual credits: 7.5
  • Self reporting professionals, such as CPAs and CEMs must check in at each session or plenary attended to receive a certificate.
